The Whitfield house

AJ Hackett

AJ Hackett is a fully licensed venue, completely nestled in the rainforest, but also offering all the comfort, and simplicity, to deal with after a very busy day at the Bungy jumping venue. Their capacity varies from 20 to 1000 with areas that can be closed off, or opened, depending on numbers, and making it not only extremely intimate but also completely magical.
The new amphitheater is perfect for open air events such as corporate dinners and wedding receptions. Who knows, you might even choose to incorporate some of the fully charged adrenaline actvities available on site or make it the most elegant affair everyone in town is talking about. That is if you choose the right caterer of course!!!
Sugar Wharf
The Port Douglas Sugar Wharf, right on the water is a stunning open air all weather options location, big enough to host any events and far far too cheap. The wharf was constructed in 1904 to handle the export of Sugar brought from Mossman. Later it became a fishermans wharf and restaurant. Overlooking the Coral sea, Daintree mountains on sunset, it is just absolutely magic.
The large weather proof areas can accommodate tables, a dance floor, with a separate area for the caterers, and offers a divine rustic look. The outside board walk is perfect either for a casual standing cocktail, or an incredibly themed outdoor seated reception.
